Sierra Wrestling Association (SWA) Competition Schedule
Truckee Youth Wrestling is a member of the Sierra Wrestling Association (SWA). The SWA has a variety of competitions available locally to the Northern Nevada Area starting mid-December through the USA Nevada State Championships in early/mid March. Tournaments are generally on Sundays. Participating in competitions is recommended but not necessary for Truckee Wrestlers. From time to time, we will evaluate and recommend competitions outside of the SWA schedule. Generally, we will participate in tournaments in the Sacramento/Central Valley area of California.
WAR Zone Competitions
SWA will be sponsoring WAR Zone competitions this year. These will be an great way for beginner and novice wrestlers to get "live" competition in a low-stress environment while be appropriate matched with wrestlers of similar weight and ability level. Click below to learn more about WAR Zones.
